To Lionel Hampton from the Consulate General of Israel in New York, the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, and the Jewish National Fundo of America. On February 4, 1999 commemorating the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Jewish New Year of the trees, Tu B'Shvat trees have been planted in the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Forest in Israel.
